Terms of Service

1. Quotations
Quotations are valid for 30 days from date of issue unless stated otherwise. Prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR). Where VAT applies it will be shown separately on the quotation.
2. Orders & artwork approval
Production begins only after written acceptance of a quotation and approval of the stitched sample or digital proof. Once a sample is approved, the approved design specifications (size, colours, placement) are final for that production run.
3. Payment
Unless credit terms have been agreed in writing, a 50% deposit is payable before production and the balance before collection/delivery. Invoices are payable by EFT using the invoice number as reference. Overdue amounts may accrue interest at the prime rate plus 2%.
4. Customer-supplied garments
Stef's Embroideries takes the utmost care with customer-supplied garments. However, embroidery is a mechanical process and we accept liability for damaged customer-supplied items only up to a maximum of 5% spoilage on bulk runs, which is industry standard. We recommend supplying spare garments on large orders.
5. Turnaround
Lead times are estimates and commence upon receipt of deposit, approved artwork and all garments. We will always communicate proactively if timelines shift.
6. Intellectual property
You warrant that you own or are licensed to use all logos and artwork supplied to us. Digitised stitch files created by us remain our property until paid for in full, after which usage rights transfer to you. We may photograph completed work for our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
